Check the attempts and submissions of an activity

Access tracking

The Submissions view of an activity shows the recorded attempts. You can check the participants, distinguish finished and ongoing attempts, and identify those with questions pending correction.

When the same participant has made multiple participations, the screen can group attempts by person. The grades and progress of an attempt should not be confused with the aggregated data of that participant.

What to verify?

• Ongoing: the final submission has not yet been made.
• Finished: the attempt has been submitted.
• Pending correction: there may be missing grades for open-ended questions, even though the attempt is finished.

If the activity is linked to a group or subgroup, the tracking can also be limited to that context. Group tasks also have their own submission statuses.
