Question types

Quezmo allows combining different question formats within the same assessment.

  • Multiple choice and true or false: choose between alternatives.
  • Multiple response: select several correct options.
  • Matching: relate elements from two sets.
  • Classification: distribute elements among categories.
  • Ordering and timeline: place elements or events in a sequence.
  • Numeric and operations: calculate or enter values.
  • Open response: write an answer or provide evidence, if allowed.
  • Image selection: identify visual elements.
  • Narrative: present information or context without requiring a response.

Depending on the mode and configuration, questions related to location can also be included.

Prioritize what you want to observe. If you need to verify a working sequence, use ordering. If you need to justify a decision, consider an open response. If you need to identify a relationship, use matching.

Combine formats when they add value; variety alone does not improve a poorly designed question.
