Converting a guest participation into an account

When possible

The Quezmo backend has a guest to registered user conversion procedure. In this process, the account is created with name, email, and password; then the participations associated with the guest token are updated.

The new account requires email verification before being able to log in with a password. The password must be at least 8 characters long.

Availability of the feature

The presence of a conversion option in the interface depends on the specific screen and flow. If it does not appear, do not assume that manually creating a new account will automatically associate the old participation.
