Create a quiz from scratch

For: content creators with the appropriate permissions.

Create the template

1. Open My content and go to create a New quiz.
2. Choose Quiz, Interactive route, or Interactive adventure.
3. Enter the name, description, language, and relevant categories.
4. Set privacy and, when applicable, the map and cover image.
5. Save the template and open its editor to add questions or scenes.

The quiz is the base content. Creating it is not the same as creating an activity for participants: an activity has its own access, availability, scoring, and participation settings.

Before sharing

A new quiz is initially saved without activation. Check that there are active questions—or a valid narrative structure—and activate it when ready. Afterwards, you can create one or multiple activities from the same template.
