Scenes and transitions

Adventures are built with scenes and transitions.

A scene represents a moment in the adventure: it can present information, a question, a decision, or a consequence.

Depending on the type, it can include narratives, images, audios, clues, and contents linked to a location.

A transition is the connection that leads from one scene to another.

It can establish a condition (for example, a response or a chosen option), a destination, and feedback. It can also incorporate a score or a time penalty.

A decision can open several branches. Later, two branches can converge into the same scene to avoid content duplication.

An adventure can have multiple endings. Loops allow returning to previous scenes but must be designed so the participant is not trapped without an exit.

Always check that non-final scenes have continuity and that endings are accessible.
