Delete Submissions of an Activity

Before Deleting

The list of submissions includes attempt selection tools and, for users with sufficient permissions, deletion actions.

1. Open the activity list and identify the attempts.
2. Enable selection and mark only the submissions you want to delete.
3. Review the names and selected attempts.
4. Read the confirmation message before accepting.

Caution

Deleting a submission is different from correcting its grade, recalculating the scores, or forcibly completing it. These operations have different effects on the participation record.

If you need to keep evidence of an evaluative activity, export the authorized information before considering deletion. Do not use deletion as a way to resolve an issue that should still be investigated.
