Closure and Undelivered Tasks

For: participants and managers.

The closing date sets the deadline after which submissions or modifications to deliveries are no longer allowed.

A task may appear as:

  • Closed · Not Delivered, if no delivery has been completed.
  • Closed · Incomplete Delivery, if mandatory parts remain pending.

Quezmo may show the participant an option to acknowledge that they did not complete the task at the expected time. This acknowledgment is recorded but does not count as submitting the work or receiving a grade.

The instructor may consider a postponement to complete a pending task, or a retake to redo parts of a completed delivery. These authorizations have their own deadlines and are recorded in the history.

Important: do not confuse due date with closing date. A task may have passed its due date and still accept submissions until it is closed.
