Understanding partial submissions

A task may consist of several elements. Saving an answer or a file does not necessarily mean it has been completed.

A submission is partial when there is saved work but some mandatory part is still missing, such as a PDF, an image, the text, the associated activity, or a required individual contribution.

The screen shows the required parts and those that are missing. If still allowed, return to complete the rest. Do not confuse saved with completed.

In the submission status, Partials are viewed separately from Completed and Not submitted. You can enter the details, see what has been saved, and assess the work according to the available options.

Important: grading a partial while the deadline is still open may affect the possibility of completing it. Quezmo shows warnings before certain corrections. Extensions allow reopening the deadline in the provided cases.
