Shared files and folders

The Files tab groups materials from tasks and accessible group activities.

What can you find here?

• PDFs associated with tasks.
• Support documents related to activities.
• Shared folders created from submissions of certain tasks.

Access to materials depends on permissions, content publication, and subgroups.

Sharing submissions

When creating a task, you can enable Create a shared folder with submissions, as long as the task requires images or PDFs.

The virtual folder can be:

• A joint folder for the entire group; or
• A separate folder per subgroup.

Files from completed submissions are shown according to the configuration. Students are informed when their materials may be visible to other members.

Attention: this is an express sharing option. Do not assume that any file from an individual submission is accessible to the rest of the group.
