The configuration of an activity determines how participants will interact with the quiz.

Aspects to review

• Availability: activation and participation dates.
• Access: authorized participants, codes, or participation options.
• Attempts and answers: possibility to repeat or modify answers according to the configuration.
• Time: overall duration and, in certain modes, time per question.
• Presentation: order and navigation of the questions.
• Scoring: grading criteria and possible penalties.
• Results: information that the participant will be able to consult.

Not all options are necessary or available in every mode.

Usage examples

A practice activity may prioritize feedback; an assessment test may limit time and result viewing; a competition may give more weight to scoring and progress.
