Testing an adventure before publishing it

The adventure tester allows you to run through the adventure’s paths before sharing it with participants.

  • That scenes display the intended content.
  • That decisions trigger the correct transitions.
  • That feedback is consistent with the responses.
  • That scoring and penalties evolve as defined.
  • That the expected endings can be reached.
  1. Review the complete graph.
  2. Run a main path.
  3. Test the alternative branches.
  4. Check endings, loops, and recovery paths.
  5. Fix detected errors and repeat the affected test.

The goal is not just to see if the adventure concludes, but to verify what the participant experiences and whether the consequences are as you designed.
