Understanding the question screen

Common elements

The participation screen may display the activity title, the question number or identifier, the statement, the controls specific to the question type, and the count of answered questions.

Depending on the mode, you may also see a list of questions, a map, a hint, a timer, or a waiting indicator.

Distinguishing the statuses

• Current question: the one you can view or answer at that moment.
• Answer being edited: you have entered data but it may not have been sent yet.
• Saved answer: the system has confirmed the record.
• Activity finished: the final submission has been registered.

Do not confuse a selection made on the form with a confirmed answer: check the save message or transition before exiting.
