Configure the prompt, hints, and feedback
Question elements
Section titled “Question elements”The editor distinguishes between prompt, hint, and, when applicable, feedback for a correct or incorrect answer.
- Prompt: main text of the question.
- Hint: support available to help solve it.
- Correct feedback: message associated with a correct answer.
- Incorrect feedback: message associated with an incorrect answer.
- Question score: individual weight configurable by the creator.
Hints and feedback are not the same thing: the hint helps before answering and the feedback contextualizes the result afterwards, if the activity configuration allows its display.
In certain questions, a hint or question mode can be activated to separate the moment of requesting help from the moment of answering.
Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”Keep the correct answer separate from any hint. Test the content from the participant’s view to ensure it does not reveal anything prematurely.
